Lune Paws ("we," "us") operates lunepaws.com. This policy explains how we collect and use information when you visit our website.
Information we collect
- Email address — if you subscribe to our newsletter or opt in to pet date email reminders.
- Pet reminder details — if you choose email reminders: pet name, occasion type, and month/day (not year). Only stored to send reminders you requested.
- Local pet profiles (on your device) — if you use My Pets and tap Save, names and dates are stored in your browser (localStorage). We do not receive that data unless you later opt into email reminders or another feature that sends information to us.
- Usage data — standard server logs and analytics (pages viewed, browser type, approximate location).
- Cookies — used by analytics and advertising partners (e.g., Google AdSense, if enabled).
How we use information
To send newsletter updates and optional pet date reminders you requested, improve our content, measure traffic, and display relevant advertisements.
Pet date reminders
If you opt in on Pet Date Reminders, we store your email, pet name, occasion type, and recurring month/day to send emails 14 days before, 7 days before, and on that date. Every reminder email includes an unsubscribe link. Memorial reminders use a gentle tone; celebration and memorial emails may include gift guide links and free tools (for example memorial card or urn calculator).
Third-party links
Our gift guides link to Amazon and other retailers. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We do not control third-party data practices.
